  • Rehab Med celebrates Fall Convocation 2011

    Both the University of Alberta and Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine were buzzing with excitement last Thursday as students, family, faculty and staff braved the cold weather to celebrate Fall Convocation 2011. During the morning ceremony at the Jubilee Auditorium, the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine’s Dean Martin Ferguson-Pell had the privileged opportunity to present Rick Hansen for the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws on behalf of the University of Alberta Senate.

  • In memory of Dr. Robert Kell, 1967-2011

    University of Alberta Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine and Augustana campus are mourning the passing of a dear friend, respected colleague and valued professor. On November 10, 2011, Dr. Robert Kell passed away as the result of a vehicle accident.

  • 2011 ARA Awards Dinner celebrates rehabilitation excellence

    There were so many bright smiles at the Alberta Rehabilitation Awards (ARA) dinner this past weekend, you’d think it was an evening to celebrate excellence in dentistry. But around 200 rehabilitation professionals, friends and family were gathered to celebrate exemplary service in occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology and audiology.
